I took a trip to San Luis National wildlife refuge Complex. I never seen such a massive reservation before: over 40,000 acres of preserved land. I saw a few elk and lots of birds of all kinds. My fiance and I traveled from town to find a a very quiet and free place to fish and we believe we have found it. there is 9 sections or spots that you can fish on the San Joaquin River. Open space and hardly anyone around. I recommend it for anyone who would like to get away from the town and cities and get back to nature even for a brief time.

These are a few pics I took while I was there this morning.
A beautiful refuge. I am glad there are places like this available for everyone.
